Dietro a Node-RED c’è Node.js (basato su JavaScript).
Ben presto, vista l’estrema flessibilità e relativa facilità d’uso, è entrato anche nel mondo dell’Home Automation, infatti lo troviamo disponibile su diverse piattaforme quali Home Assistant, iHOST, ecc.
Naturalmente Node-RED è disponibile anche per diversi microprocessori come ESP32, STM32, ecc.
